Cover hinged with hand hammering and crimped rim. Strapwork hinges with cabochon chrysoprase set in trefoil terminals. Cedar lining; open underside velvet-lined. Fully marked including makers stamp (William Hutton & Sons Ltd) and assay stamp (London). Very good condition. Overall dimensions: H 2 3/8 x W 5 3/4 x D 4 1/2 in.
