Edwardian sterling silver ring box. Made by Henry Matthews in Birmingham in 1905. Square with hinged cover and open bottom. Curved corners with leaf-mounted hoof supports. On cover top embossed angels heads after Joshua Reynolds painting from the late 1780s. Cover interior gilt washed. Red velvet lining. Fully marked. Very good condition.
