Edwardian sterling silver wedding cup. Made by Daniel & John Wellby in London in 1909. A bosomy Teutonic Jungfrau holds aloft scrolled brackets with swing-mounted cup; conical skirt bowl. Chased Classical ornament including gadrooning, diaper, leaf-and-dart, and leafing scrollwork. Engraved on cup rim: Grocers Hall 1910. Very good condition. Dimensions: H 5 7/8 x D 2 1/8 in.
