Each: Lobed and shallow bowl with turned-down scalloped rim applied with alternating flowerheads and leaves; globular support and raised foot supported by four splayed rectilinear volute scrolls applied with same. Early pieces in the in the historic Japonesque pattern that was first produced in 1880. Fully marked including makers stamp, pattern no. 5725, order no. 6629, and directors letter M (1873-91).
