Pair of European cut-glass bottle decanters with silver mounts, ca 1920. Each: Round and flat bowl. On sides, cut diaper. Front and back have acid-etched fruiting grapevine wreathing central amber rondel with same fruit bowl in beaded border. Ovoid stopper with same beaded cherry rondel. Half-fluted cylindrical neck with ornamented silver collar depicting a chaste courtship. Silver marks include Hanau makers stamp, American importers stamp (Bucholz & Zelt), 800-fineness stamp, and country of production (Germany). Glass probably Czech. Very good condition.
