On recto, pointille bands and engraved royal cipher for George VI, the last-minute stand-in for Edward VIII, who abdicated to marry an American divorcee. Verso plain. In leather case with fitted velvet and silk lining stamped with retailers stamp (Asprey). Fully marked including retailers (same) and makers (Robert Edgar Stone) stamps and assay stamp (London).
